Packing Checklist

Things to bring with you to the Conference:

Along with the necessities, remember to pack a sense of adventure and a good sense of humour. And be sure to bring “festive” clothes to wear for our banquet at the end of the week, and perhaps for the opening of the Art Gallery. Musical instruments are always welcome.

  • warm sleeping bag or blankets
  • twin sheets & pillow
  • two towels (for showers and swimming – good to bring two as they dry slowly on rainy days)
  • earplugs (statistically, snorers outnumber non-snorers 2:1)
  • line, hangers, clothespins, scarves & sarongs for decorating (privatizing) your bunk area
  • a variety of comfortable warm and cold weather clothes, warm coat, sweaters, layers
  • festive clothing: *for both the Art Gallery Opening & the closing “banquet” on Saturday*
  • bathing suit (it’s darn cold, but refreshing)
  • hat (warm for evenings/ cold days)
  • sunglasses
  • yoga mat, yoga clothing
  • good walking shoes + good dancing shoes
  • umbrella, rain boots (nice to have on rainy days)
