Dancer, Physical Therapist
Rachael R. Resch is a dancer, physical therapist and mystic devoted to serving The Holy through movement, healing, play and prayer. She uses verbal language and the language of movement to guide people through alchemical somatic experiences to heal the ecosystems of body, soul, community and the World.
Rachael attended her first Great Mother Conference in 1980 and returned annually thereafter, except for a period of 13 years when she attended Bolad’s Kitchen, Martín Prechtel’s school in New Mexico. Her other teachers include Robert Bly, Coleman Barks, Rabbi Aryeh Hirschfield (zt”l), Rabbi David Zaslow, Rabbi Arthur Waskow, Paul Richards, Stephen Victor and Debbie Rosas.
Rachael is a Nia Black Belt and Nia Faculty emeritus, Director of Sacred Movement at Havurah Synagogue, and owner of Synergy Physical Therapy & Movement Arts. She lives in Ashland, Oregon, with her husband, Richard Seidman.
