Lodging at Camp Wavus

Shared Cabins

As Camp Wavus is a children’s camp from June-August, lodging on offer are shared cabins with bunk beds and shared bathrooms. Cabins host around 10 attendees per cabin.

Cabins do have:

  • Electricity

  • Toilets

  • Showers with hot water

Cabins do not have:

  • Dedicated Wi-Fi access points (some Internet connectivity is available in the main buildings, but it should not be relied upon for critical work)

  • Provided sheets, pillows, or blankets (you must bring your own)

Camping

If you would prefer to camp outside of a cabin, this is also possible. Attendees often camp in tents. See our list of recommended items specifically for camping.

Food at Camp Wavus

All meals are served buffet-style, with a wide variety of choices available. The staff at Camp Wavus serve hearty breakfasts (eggs, protein, oatmeal) and typically offer cereal, fruit, yogurt, and bagels, English muffins, and toast. Lunch usually features a variety of salads, soups, and sandwiches. Dinner is generally comprised of a selection of protein, along with vegetables, a green salad, and dessert.

Dietary restrictions are accommodated as best as possible. Vegan and dairy-free options are always present, alongside vegetarian options, along with gluten free options.

Dietary restrictions are noted at the time of registration.

Alcohol is present at the Conference. Wine is served at the gallery opening, and at the banquet at the close of the week.
